Style: Besties & Shopping

When I was growing up, I loved to watch Hannah Montana and would dream of having a friendship just like the one Miley and Lilly shared. I came close a few times but, It wasn't until university that I managed to find my perfect bestie. That person who is always there for you, no matter what. The person who knows your most embarrassing secrets... and you automatically speak at the same time, and copy each others facial expressions.

Road Trip: The Cowboy Hat

'Fake it until you make it!'

That's how the saying goes, right? Well, I've always fancied myself living in the Old West. Technically, I'm living in the wrong time period and wrong country for that one. So what? Today, I decided to dig out my cowboy hat and rock it with some spring pastels, (I thought a full on cowboy look would be too overpowering). Hey, just because I live in England doesn't mean I have to walk around wearing tweed - *laughs*.

Scrapbook: Girly Vibes

I've been scrapbooking for about a year. It's become my creative outlet, to store memories and ideas. My mind works in a visual way so I find this more useful than a written diary. A couple of days ago, I had the idea of creating a fashion scrapbook - dedicated to all my fashion inspiration. I thought this would be fun to include in the blog, so you can follow my scrapbooking journey.

My Style: Dishevelled Elegance

I have always loved the: casual, effortless, chic style, which many French women seem to possess. That was my inspiration for this look. I like to call it: Dishevelled Elegance. The shape and structure of the outfit emit a kind of elegance but the tousled, messy ponytail - plus slouchy vibe - add a slightly dishevelled quality.

Fashion: The Wild Side

Whenever I need to relax or clear my head, I always like to go on a long walk, through a natural area. Today just happened to be one of those days, so I headed off to my local nature reserve, (which is conveniently only a twenty minute walk from my house).

Style File: The Country Club

‘It’s lovely to escape to a tranquil spa retreat’

I fully recommend running off to a spa hotel for the weekend and booking yourself in for a treatment. With the busy, 21st century lives we now all live, sometimes we need to take time to let the mind unwind and our bodies recover.

Style File: Women's Day

'International Women's Day: I am a woman and proud!'

On this international women's day, I decided to try out something new. A padded bra. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone and I am still not one hundred percent sure that I like the look. I guess it all depends on the outfit, as it looks good with a tight fitting top but would not work with anything a little more loose fitting. However, it is great to try new things and what better day to do so than Women's Day?

Style File: Lady in Red

‘Chunky heels & a-lines are the way to go’

I’ve always been a stilettos girl… but with 90s fashion the latest it thing, chunky heels seem to be dominating the shelves. So, with an open mind, I decided to give the chunky heel a shot… and now I will never go back. They’re o'so more comfortable it’s crazy. My feet don’t ache in the slightest when I wear them so I can happily wear my heels every day of the week.
