Things You Can Do To Feel Amazing

We don’t wake up every day feeling amazing; some days, we want to wrap ourselves in our duvets and watch Netflix with ice cream all day.

And, as much as we should allow ourselves to have the freedom, it is essential to make sure that we are feeling good even on the duvet days.

There are many small things that you can do to give yourself a little pep-up.

Laugh
Laughing can feel like the most challenging thing in the world when we aren’t feeling our best, but laughing is one of the best things we can do to feel great. A catch 22, but it is always worth the effort.

The most obvious choices for getting a hefty dose of laughter are finding a comedy to watch or listening to a funny podcast to get you going.

Crunchy foods
Crunchy food is more satisfying to eat, and most often, crunch food is fresh too. Think about how crunchy cucumbers and apples are.

Loud and crunchy foods add a new sensory level to the eating experience and lead to a higher satisfaction rate. If you don’t feel like chowing down on a single cucumber, then check out some fun easy salad recipes to get your taste buds going and enjoy that crunch.

Say no
Say no, and mean it. You don’t even need to explain if you don’t feel like it. But saying no can be one of the most freeing and enjoyable things to do.

Of course, we most often can’t say no to work things or to necessary appointments. But as for the extras? Say no! And revel in it.

Let loose the creative you
Many of us watch tutorials or see Instagram and TikTok guides with the most creative people - and wish we could do the same.

The truth is we don’t know just how creative we can be until we try. There is nothing as satisfying or amazing as completing a project that gives us the space to be creative.

Try to approach without any pressure, and do it just for the fun of it.

If we have learned anything in the last few years, it should be that saving clothing for ‘best’ isn’t the best idea. We never know what will happen; clothes that we purchased and love should be worn whenever the mood takes us.

Put together a few outfits that make you feel amazing, and when the mood takes you - put them on and strut your stuff - even if it is just around the house.
