Beauty: Win a Burt's Bees gift set with Wow FreeStuff

Feeling like you need a present? Well, Wow FreeStuff are giving you the opportunity to get this Burt's Bees gift set.

A snow covered winter wonderland may look beautiful but when your hands start to resemble sandpaper and your lips are all chapped - things can be less fun. Over these winter months, I swear I look like less of a person and more like a snake sheading it's skin. Yep, everything starts peeling, I'm painting a lovely picture, I know, by Rosa Fairfield.

The photographs are also by me, Rosa Fairfield.

Anyway, worry not, Burt's Bees have got you covered. Got no money after Christmas... and the sales? Don't worry, you can win a Burt's Bees gift set with WOW FreeStuff. All the terms and conditions (you know, that small print) is explained on their website. You need to be over 18 to enter. I wish you all the best of luck.

Wow FreeStuff gifted me this set & I have to say that I'm loving it. It's not the first time that I've tried Burt's Bees products. I've purchased a few bits and pieces from them before. The lip balm has a minty smell and the hand salve has a flowery scent. They both have an oily consistency, which means they offer a good level of moister.

One of the things about this particular gift set is the packaging. It comes in a metal tin. I love it when gift sets have this because it becomes a little keep sake (as beauty products are dispensable). I tend to use them to store my jewellery or little treasures that I've collected. The packaging also has this twee vintage vibe, which is so cute to look at. Sorry, I'm kind of obsessed with packaging. I'm really easily pleased, haha.

Just a little tip, I find it's helpful to apply lip balm before you go to sleep or sometimes when you're around the house. If you're wearing lipstick, I sometimes either apply a layer of balm under or over the lipstick. Although, if you're applying over the top, as a top coat, make sure you apply it with a brush so you don't turn the balm the same colour as the lipstick.

I also find it's helpful to apply hand salve or any type of moisturizer directly to the dry spot on your skin. This is especially helpful if you have combination skin. It also means you can make the product last longer.
