I've always wanted to have my very own wedding, (note how I said 'wedding' and not 'marriage'). I've been planning my wedding for as long as I can remember. I want a beautiful dress just like the one Audrey Hepburn wears in funny face, I want to release doves and I want to have a princess ball afterwards. Nowhere in this plan do I mention a partner to actually marry. That's because, if I'm honest, I just want to wear a beautiful wedding dress and have the perfect day without the whole 'sharing your life with someone' part.
Me and my best friend have spent many hours joking that we should just marry each other so we can have the perfect wedding. (In reality it wouldn't be perfect, we would end up arguing over every little detail.)
