This was one of the happiest days I've had in a while. I spent my most of my time, at this farm, laughing and smiling. If you've been following my blog for a while, you will know that I love anything with a western theme. I also adore animals.
As a child, my bookcase would be full of animal stories, my favourite being the Animal Ark series. I would cry every time someone would try to kill a bug and dreamed of becoming a dolphin trainer (that dream was pretty short lived as my goal of becoming an actress overshadowed it).
This post has also reminded me how much I need to go horse-riding again, something to write on my summer to-do list. Also, I really need to buy a pair of proper cowboy boots.
With this outfit, I wanted to create something that had a western-cowboy vibe without it looking like a dressing-up outfit. The dress has boho and floaty feel and the boots don't look too western so it adds a nice contrast with the hat and jacket.
I think it's a nice alternative spring look, for when you are tired of pastels and girly florals. Its such a comfortable outfit to wear too because its loose fitting.
