Camel Coats

The camel coat is popular again this year, with both high street and designer collections featuring the style.

Think Max Mara, & Other Stories, Zara, See By Chloe... the list goes on and on. It is such a timeless, classic piece that can become a wardrobe staple.

You can dress it down with earthy colours, or dress if up with metallics.

This coat is particularly long so I would recommend wearing it with slim leg trousers, leggings or a midi skirt/dress.

This will compliment the length. A mini skirt might make the outfit look incomplete and a maxi skirt or long flared bottoms can create a strange shape.

My Nameless Cat

"There once was a very lonely, very frightened girl. She lived alone except for a nameless cat."

- Breakfast at Tiffany's

This photoshoot is a continuation of my last post - which was also Breakfast at Tiffany's themed - only this is inspired by the ending.

When I was a lot younger, the most beautiful ginger cat - with long fur - showed up outside my door.

I went outside and stroked it. It wouldn't leave me alone. This was odd because cats don't normally like me.

Cat had no collar and it was very cold outside so we let it into our porch and gave it some milk.

After a while my parents said it had to leave, much to my protests.

Maybe I do live in a little bit of a fantasy world, but I thought it was my Cat... my nameless cat.

It kept on showing up at various points over the next week... until the last time.

It was snowing and my dad found it sitting on our shed, its eyes were watering.

I really wanted Cat to stay with us, but my parents wouldn't allow it. In the end, some people living on my street took Cat in.

Thanks for reading and thanks to SheIn for the coat.
